Everything starts with an idea.
How does a piece of technology come about?
1. Somebody has an idea.
2. Somebody does the technical figuring-out.
3. Somebody builds it.
4. Yay!
Personally, I love making use of everything I have. Any way I can improve my computing experience, hardware or software, I’ll look into it. But this is where I stop short, due to lack of in-depth programming or hardware expertise. Nevertheless,...

Office 2007 ft Design ft Feel-Good Marketing
:
What you see on top is my usual config whenever I install Office 2007 on my Windows rigs. I make sure to only install what I really need, so that I don’t end up with more registry bloat and apps that waste my available disk space. I also recommend readers to always do the same thing, and not just click through the “Next”s.
However, take a look at the title bar....

Quick Mini-Review of Google Analytics
Data gathering, mining and analysis are all very hot topics, interesting to marketers and social psychologists and the like. This is why people conduct surveys and gather stats, in order to find patterns and make sense of certain human behaviours etc.
You may have realized that in the previous few days my postings have become very frequent, up to perhaps 3 a day. Yes, when I’m not waiting...

Backing Up for OSX & Boot Camp + Filesystem Woes

1. Personal Issues
Yes, I’m having trouble with school. I think I’ve been skipping too many lessons, and my projects, namely EMP, have been in the pits. If you wish to catch up on the drama, go read my...

Reblog & Review: Tumblr camera stats
This is a reblog of the Tumblr team’s photo stats. This reminds me of MMR, but somehow in an interesting way. (I really didn’t think social networking was all that exciting, sorry Ms Kwa!)
staff:
We decided to organize some camera statistics from photos uploaded to Tumblr, and it revealed some interesting data:
One of the most surprising results is the dominance of photos taken...

DI Week 5 & 6
Okay, I had a story angle but I just don’t have the mood/time/energy to carry it out. I don’t know, maybe juggling school, a girlfriend and my personal geek/tech adventures all at once is one bit too draining? I guess I’ll just adapt, as I have to added workload in previous sems. But this is a topic for my personal blog.
Photos are easier to upload and get me started....
